CUCAS Service Fee

In order to help even more students smoothly apply for Chinese universities, we have redesigned and streamlined our standard service package, CUCAS Standard Services, effective November 1^st 2011.

CUCAS charges a flat fee of 50 USD for CUCAS Standard Services, , which include: Online Application Services and Admission Offer Delivery Service. Meanwhile, all the CUCAS Supplementary Services are free.

Only 50 USD? It sounds almost too good to be true. You may be wondering how CUCAS keeps its service fees so low.

In order to dispel any doubt or apprehension you may have before dealing with us, we want to explain frankly how CUCAS operates.

CUCAS is the official online application platform for nearly 200 universities in China. We manage a simple and efficient online application system and provide admission services through which we connect international students with their ideal university and academic program. We minimize the cost to the student in two main ways:

• Fees received from Chinese universities: In return for this fee we provide schools with information regarding the status of international students studying abroad in China, school recommendations, program applications, and online application management.
• And in fact, due to the nature of our online application process, CUCAS saves a lot of manpower and financial resources; our database of academic programs and schools is completely online. Of course, after submitting the application, schools admissions officers will go over the application materials and submit the results through the online system. This entire process is digitized and saves a large amount of natural resources as well.

Basically, it is this simple: Low prices are ideal and the cornerstone of business ideas and concepts. We are continuously striving to make our services better, simpler, more efficient, and always more cost-effective. We feel that 50 USD  is an appropriate and reasonable service fee.

Furthermore, we would like to remind students to be careful when dealing with education agents in China, as Chinese universities do not commission third parties to accept money from students on their behalf. If you come across this situation please contact the university for validation or contact us.

To have students further understand China prior to coming, and to provide students with information and similar services is our goal. Naturally, we have some services that are not perfect, fnamely: we are currently unable to provide an online accommodation booking service, airport reception is not provided in cities other than Beijing, and there are still some schools not open to online application. However, we aim to provide reasonably priced online services. We will always use the most straight-forward methods in order to satisfy more people's needs and to construct a more compressive service system.

Refund Conditions

1. If you meet the following requirements, CUCAS will refund all your application fees and the CUCAS service fee.

• Because of the special admission policies of the university, your application cannot be processed or accepted.
• Because of the internal causes, the program you applied cannot be started.
• Because of the adjustments to admission information, your application cannot be processed or accepted.

2. If you meet the following requirements, CUCAS will refund the CUCAS service fee (50 USD) only.

• Whenever your application is refused by the university, CUCAS will refund the 50 USD you paid.

3. In the following instances, CUCAS will not refund your payment.

• Your application was accepted by the university.
• Your application was canceled by yourself due to personal reasons.
• Your application was not processed or accepted because you were intending to undertake illegal activities while in China.
• Your application was not processed or accepted due to your application documents containing false information.
• Your application was not processed or accepted due to your application documents being incomplete..
• Your application does not meet the aforementioned refund conditions.

Please note, this does not include your bank's processing time. On the date the refund is completed, we'll send you an email message confirming the date, amount and payment details.
