China’s science and technology sector is advancing at a rapid pace. China has numerous English-language programs centering on science, technology and medicine. Program prices are extremely competitive compared to many other countries, and some of China's world-class institutions actively recruit overseas students.

Engineering

China’s emerging engineering institutes are poised to become some of the best in the world. Classes in material and civil engineering programs at schools like Tsinghua University and Wuhan University provide a first-rate education at a relatively low price. Beihang University in Beijing is China’s premier aeronautical engineering institute. China’s computer science and IT industry is growing at a rapid pace. Students studying in Chinese universities go on to work in international IT companies like Lenovo and receive an education that can be used anywhere in the world. An IT degree from a world-class Chinese institution is an excellent career investment and costs much less than a similar degree from North America, Europe or elsewhere.
