MBBS programs on Chiwest, approved and attested by Ministry of Education, are very popular among applicants from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mongolia, and a few African countries. The programs (taught in English) normally last for 6 years (including one year intern period), and they are recognized by WHO (World Health Organization), IMC (India Medical Council), PMC (Pakistan Medical-Dental Council), SLMC (Sri Lanka Medical Council). The competition for a place in a recognized MBBS program is ferocious, and most MBBS programs have no more places for 2009-2010 academic year.
For those who intend to study MBBS programs, the following four schools still have limited places. The starting date for the following programs is early October, 2009.
