1. Why to apply through the traditional way is not a good option?
In general, there are two traditional methods to apply. One is directly mailing to the school via email box. Another is sending all your application files to the international office of the university in the post office. But both ways are not so good choices for our applicants. As everyone knows that the directors who take in charge of the international students admission in the college are very busy, they could not attention to your application in time. So your application might be delayed and even worse you might miss the enrollment time.
If you choose the second way to send your files to the university, it will waste a lot of your time. In case miss some files, you only can be noticed after a long time.
In a word, choosing the traditional ways to apply for a favorite program or university is NOT the best choice.
2. Why apply online via CHIWEST?
Use our simple, convenient service to apply for the programs of your choice
Applicants can use CHIWEST to quickly, efficiently and accurately search for appropriate schools, and can apply completely online. In addition, CHIWEST can help applicants apply to multiple schools at once.
Before Application: CHIWEST uses the FIND PROGRAMS/FIND SCHOOL, QUICK GUIDE and SCHOOL CONNECTION functions to help students select appropriate classes and schools.

By using the QUICK GUIDE function, applicants can find appropriate classes and schools after answering just a few simple questions. The SCHOOL CONNECTION function allows schools to take the initiative in seeking out international students.
CHIWEST provides a function to determine the relative qualities of various schools and programs; regardless of the type of school or program, users can see each displayed for comparison.
Submit application(s):
CHIWEST uses the MY PROFILE function to help students fill in complex application forms. This means that students do not need to resubmit the same information on more than one application form. CHIWEST uses the world's most safe and stable online payment system, PAYPAL; applicants can safely and efficiently pay all fees online.
After application submission:
CHIWEST uses the MY APPLICATION function to help students to monitor their application status at any time. When the application is denied or accepted, CHIWEST will notify applicants via e-mail.
Once you pay for CHIWEST processing fee(US$30 only), it would cover six applications service. After completing the application for a course, you can follow the same steps to apply for other courses. It is strongly recommended that you apply for two or more different programs to ensure that you will be accepted into at least one program.
CHIWEST provides online application service for students planning to study in China. All users are able to browse the information on the site. Only registered members are eligible to use our online application service.
Find the program and school that suits your needs
Quick Guide is an innovative service that CHIWEST provides to applicants. Applicants can simply answer a few questions and find schools and programs that meet their requirements.

Question 4: What is your budget?
Note: Users are able to skip any question and continue on to the next. The more information provided by the user, the better the results will be. However, it is possible that there will be no appropriate results, so we suggest that applicants give it a try again if this is the case.
4. When to apply?
Applicant should apply for the program before two months of the school starting. And the detail application deadline is definitely instructed in the program page that you apply. If the program that you intend to apply is out the deadline, you can contact us for further information.
Step 1: register and sign in
Register a CHIWEST account is fast and free. Please sign in and start to apply for China's Universities.
Step 2: find school and program
Click Find Schools / Find Programs on the navigation bar and search for schools / programs. You could choose searching criteria to find suitable schools / programs.
Step 3: apply online
When you have selected your favorite program, you may click Apply to apply online: filling out the online application form; uploading attachments; and paying application fee.
Step 4: school process your application
School will start processing your application as soon as the application fee receipt is confirmed. Please check your E-mail or log into My CHIWEST for latest application status.
6. How to pay application fee?
CHIWEST offers three payment methods – Direct bank transfer, PayPal online payment and Western Union.
I. Bank Transfer
Applicants can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee. While transferring funds, remember to bring CHIWEST's bank account information, and specify that the funds are for "Application Fee"; on the bank transfer slip. Remember to also leave your Application ID. CHIWEST will use your application number to confirm your payment –your unique Application ID can be found in My CHIWEST->; My Applications ->; Submitted Applications. CHIWEST usually requires two to three weeks to confirm electronic money transfers. To save time during your application process, please make a scan of the bank receipt from your money transfer and send it to "service@chiwest.cn".

II. PayPal
Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient.
If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the Paypal button on the screen to make your payment.
If you have never used Paypal before, you must first use your e-mail to register a Paypal account number. After confirming and activating your Paypal account, follow the instructions and register your credit card with your account. Once your credit card is linked to your Paypal account you can use this to pay the application fee.
III. Western Union
Reciever's Family Name: GAO; Given Name: XIAO.
(1) Go to your nearest Western Union service provider. Remember to take reciever' name with you.
(2) Fill out the form provided and show your government-issued identification card or other supporting documents to the service provider.
(3) The service provider will wire the money for you.
(4) You will be required to sign a receipt after you have verified all the details printed on the receipt are correct. One of the details printed on the receipt is your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
(5) Please contact CHIWEST after you made the payment, and send the photocopy of receipt by email to confirm your payment.
Can I pay the application fee after I am admitted by the university?
Schools are not able to process any application information until the application fee is paid. Please pay the fee in a timely manner.
7. Why Chiwest is reliable? If I have paid the application fee, but the university didn't give me the offer, how to solve this problem?
CHIWEST is the official organization responsible for managing applications to courses in China. China's Institutions would deal with applications directly on CHIWEST SYSTEM. We help students to find the right course. We try to make things run as smoothly as possible by providing innovative online tools which make it easier for students and China's schools to manage applications and offers.
If you are refused by the university which you applied, Chiwest will inform you as soon as possible via email. And according to your situation, we will recommend you to choose other university that is suitable for you.
8. After submitting my application files, how can I get the response from the university?
It normally takes 7 to 10 working days for the admission office to process the application and to prepare the offering package with visa supporting document. They will send you the relevant files for registration via email or post office. If you have not received a reply for more than 2 weeks, you can contact the customer service at service@chiwest.cn to solve the problem.
9. If I need other help during my study in China， can I ask Chiwest for help?
Yes. We have China Education Information Center and International students' transmission center which specially provide best service for international students.
10. How to pursue further education after graduation or how to transfer to other university when studying in China?
First, when you finish the current studying program, and obtained the certificate, you can apply for the programs in other universities. For example, you have got a bachelor's degree diploma in China's university and want to take a master's degree program, so you just need get to know the application qualification and what materials you should submit. If you meet the requirements, you can apply for the school directly via our website.
Second, if you want to transfer to other university, you just need to meet every application requirement of the university. In order to solve this problem as well as possible, we established the International students' transmission center. We try our best to provide the most useful service for our applicants.
