For 2010 Spring Semester Enrollees
The opening for the spring semester of Chinese universities will be on the end of February or early March 2010. Most universities will mail the university’s Admission Notice and JW202 form to each applicant after the approval of each application. However, some universities mail the university’s Admission Notice and JW202 by the end of December 2009 or January 2010 to the applicant’s specified address. These applicants will receive university’s email confirmation or electronic copy of the Admission Notice before they receive the written certificates.
Applicants for the 2010 fall semester will receive the Admission Notice and JW202 form after January 2010. University will make sure that the applicants will receive the Admission Notice and JW 202 form at the appropriate time and to also assure that the applicants will have enough time to apply for a visa to China.
CHIWEST reminds the applicants to not to apply for a visa too early before the semester begins. The universities can only provide a specific period of time for your registration. The appropriate time for the applicants to come to China is within a week before the registration date. Please manage your time accordingly.
We hope that the applicants who applied for the spring semester (February/March 2010) to study in China, whether you have applied through CHIWEST or not, or has not paid the application fee yet, please complete the application process as soon as possible. Usually, it take 2-4 weeks for the universities to review your application, after which the universities also need about 2 weeks of time to apply for the applicants visa application (JW202 form) to the respected authorities. University will begin the mid-winter vacation in January 2010. This may also affect the speed of processing your applications. To view the courses, please click here.
