1. Non-Chinese citizens with high school education or above (equivalent to the sixth grade of middle school education) and holding ordinary foreign passports valid for more than 12 months.
2. Be in good health, be of good character with no criminal record, abide by Chinese government laws and school rules and regulations, and respect the customs of the Chinese people.

4. Highest education transcript.
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
5. Graduation certificate.
Diploma in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
6. English proficiency test certificate or HSK certificate.
7. Personal Statement in Chinese or English (Should include all learning experiences, employment experience, study plans, etc. at least 500 words)
8. Foreigner Physical Examination Record and Blood Examination Report.
9. Non-criminal record provided by local police (Valid within 6 months)
10. Financial Certification/Bank Statement (30,000-50,000 RMB in the bank account. And relatives’ bank accounts need to be explained)
11. Recommendation letters from two experts with at least associate professor title. (for master’s degree only )
12. Other supporting documents (such as award certificates, scientific research achievements, participation in research, etc.).
Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: Yes, please refer to our "Terms & Conditions".
Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and around May to June for Autumn Intake.
Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.
Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
