Eligibility
(1) The applicant must be a foreign citizen who has applied for undergraduate, master or doctoral education in Tianjin Foreign Studies University. (2) The applicant who is studying for an undergraduate course shall obtain a degree or certificate equivalent to that of a Chinese senior high school graduate, aged under 30 years old. (3) The applicant should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, and have two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors, aged under 35. (4) The applicant should have a master's degree or equivalent education, and have two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors, aged under 45. (5) Voluntary compliance with Chinese laws and regulations of Tianjin Foreign Studies University. (6) No other scholarship was awarded at the same time.

(1) Scholarship application form (2) Notarized certificate of the highest educational level (photocopy) If the applicant is a student in school, he or she should submit a pre-graduation certificate issued by his or her school. Texts other than Chinese and English should be accompanied by notarized original Chinese or English translations. (3) The original of my final academic transcript Applicants are required to provide the original academic transcript, and notarized Chinese or English translations are required for texts other than Chinese and English. Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: Yes, please refer to our "Terms & Conditions".
Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and around May to June for Autumn Intake.
Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.
Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
