Founded in 1993, Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College (YWICC) is a full-time public college specializing in industry and trade. It also nurtures specialized talents in such fields as liberal arts, management, economics, and art design. The college covers over 160 acres and boasts a building floorage of more than 239,000 square meters. It enrolls approximately 9,600 full-time students from home and abroad The College consists of 6 schools offering 29 programs; the School of Culture & Tourism, the School of Mechatronics & IT, the School of Economics & Management, the School of Foreign Studies, the School of Architecture & Arts, and the Business Starting School. The College also offers the School of International Education, the School of Self-study, the MBA Center, the Distance Education Office, and the Adult Education Correspondence Center. Together these institutions provide a wide variety of programs for the community. Each year there are more than 800 international students studying at YWICC and more than 3000 international students from over 60 countries have studied at YWICC since 2007. YWICC welcomes global cooperation and has established friendly cooperation with higher institutions in the United States, United Kindom, Canada, Ireland, Switzerland, Denmark, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand.
