Beijing Polytechnic (BP) is a "National Demonstration Higher Vocational College" and a Beijing Characteristic High Level Vocational College Construction Plan Unit. BP has been recruiting foreign students since 2018, and as of 2023, there are approximately 8000 Chinese and foreign students and 521 fulltime teachers on campus. It has seven teaching divisions, including the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Aeronautical Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering, School of Integrated Circuits (Artificial Intelligence), School of Bio-engineering, School of Art & Design, School of Economics and Management and has 32 majors. There are 6 training bases at national level, 18 training bases for production, and 260 off-campus practice bases which are jointly built with enterprises.
