Beijing Polytechnic (BP) is a "National Demonstration Higher
Vocational College" and a Beijing Characteristic High Level
Vocational College Construction Plan Unit. BP has been
recruiting foreign students since 2018, and as of 2023, there are
approximately 8000 Chinese and foreign students and 521 fulltime teachers on campus.
Wuhan Polytechnic University, located in Wuhan City of Hubei Province known as a “thoroughfare to 9 provinces”, was founded in 1951. This earliest school that was to cultivate professional personnel for the grain sector was built into an undergraduate institution approved by the State Council in 1980.
