One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken color passport photo (bare-head, full face) against a light background (size: 48mm x 33mm) attached. If the accompanying children on the same passport are also on the tour, their photos should be stuck on the Application Form, and related illustration is required.
you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you should provide your previous Chinese passport held and a photocopy of its data page.
If you have obtained Chinese visas before and want to apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page. Applicants from the 1st, 2nd and 15th district please lodge their applications through the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Iquique.
From the first day of January 2011, the consular section only accepts payment through the Bank of Chile. Each applicant will be given a payment slip (with three copies) following the submission of application materials. All applicants need to settle the payment through the bank or its outlets by showing the slip to the counter, paying the fees and collecting the rest original copies (the 2nd and the 3rd ones with stamps). The 2nd copy is required by the consulate during the collection of passport; the 3rd one will be kept by the applicant.
