Located in Lincang city, Yunnan province of southwest China, a mild and picturesque border city adjacent to the upper reaches of the Mekong, merely 520 km away from the provincial capital Kunming accessible by daily express buses air flights, Lincang Teachers College is a public full-time higher learning institution affiliated to Yunnan Provincial Department of Education integrating teacher development, vocational practice, continuing education and international communication and cooperation.
The garden-like college covers an area of 73 hectares with a complete set of teaching and research facilities as well as a state-of-the-art team of lecturers, specialists and professors to offer 4 undergraduate programs and 40 three-year college for over 8,000 students from across the country. Also, as one of the earliest thirteen Chinese Education bases in the province, from 2001 onward, it has offered a cutting-edge program of Chinese Language & Culture for international and oversea Chinese students from around the world.
